Easy "Ranch" Dip
This is a staple at our house especially when we have guests over and have veggies out. Kids love this dip and I love that it doesn't have any "shady" pre-made packet seasoning in it. This is simple ingredients and tastes comparable to a ranch dip. It's delicious!
Equipment
- 1 Medium sized mixing bowl or use you stand mixer
- 1 Rubber spatula
Ingredients
- 1 6oz Container of organic cream cheese leave it out for an hour to warm up so it's easier to mix
- 12 oz Organic sour cream the container is usually 16oz, and you can add more if you prefer
- 1.5 Tbsp Garlic Salt
- 1.5 Tbsp Dried Parsley
- 3/4 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Dill Optional
Instructions
- Allow the cream cheese to warm up or put in microwave for 30 sec to soften
- Add cream cheese, sour cream, and all spices to a mixing bowl
- Mix well. Note: a stand or hand-held mixer help with this and saves your arms
- Taste test but know that the flavors need to "marinate" together. Be careful not to over salt it early on. That can be added later after it has been in the fridge for some time.
- Cover bowl or put in glass storage container and put in fridge for atleast 30-45min to allow the spices to blend together.
- Serve! It's great with veggies, but also on sandwiches, wraps and even with crackers!
